FAMILIAR PROTOCOL

Terms of use

Effective August 1, 2026

Draft for private-alpha review. The deployment owner and qualified counsel must approve governing law, eligibility, warranty, liability, dispute, and contact terms before public release.

Experimental service

Familiar Protocol is an experimental turn-based game. Availability, balance, generated content, and stored progress may change. The service does not provide money, cryptocurrency, transferable financial value, or guaranteed competitive ranking.

Your responsibilities

Do not attack the service, evade rate limits, automate abusive traffic, exploit hidden information, impersonate others, upload unlawful or infringing concepts, harass players, trade credentials, or attempt to turn the constrained mechanics format into executable code.

Familiars and generated content

You are responsible for concepts you submit. Do not request protected characters, logos, real-person impersonation, hate, sexual content involving minors, or illegal content. Certification verifies supported mechanics and deterministic behavior; it does not guarantee originality, legal clearance, or perfect competitive balance.

Accounts and enforcement

Keep credentials secret. The operator may limit or suspend access to protect players and infrastructure, investigate reports, preserve evidence, and comply with law. A public deployment must publish an appeal route.

Ownership and licenses

The game software, brand, and operator-provided assets remain with their respective owners. The deployment owner must publish the license it needs to store, display, moderate, and back up user-submitted concepts and generated familiar metadata.
